You may have noticed that recently I’ve been leaning more into video content — and honestly, I’m really enjoying it.

After two years of writing on LinkedIn and sending this newsletter, I managed to grow the community to 15,000+ sustainability professionals on LinkedIn and 3,000+ newsletter readers. Writing has always felt natural to me. Video, on the other hand… is a completely different experience.

Since the beginning of November, my focus has slowly shifted toward long-form content around AI for sustainability professionals — and I have to say, I genuinely enjoy the whole process:
the thinking, the filming, the editing, the storytelling.

It did take a bit of courage to publish that first video.
There’s always something vulnerable about putting yourself on camera.
But once I hit “publish”, most of that unnecessary fear disappeared.

So today, I’m sharing a new video with you — one that walks through how to build simple AI workflows to automate sustainability data collection.

The video starts with a very basic workflow to explain the logic step by step.
But while working on it, I surprised myself by building something much more powerful:

👉 You submit an electricity meter photo together with the reading in text
👉 AI extracts the value from the photo
👉 AI compares it with the text submission
👉 A human-in-the-loop reviews and approves or rejects the data
👉 The final sheet includes the photo, both readings, the data owner, and the approver

Thanks for being part of this journey with me.
And as always, I’d love to hear what you think.
